Outdoor Enclosures

An outdoor enclosure, also known as a catio, is a safe place for your cats to roam outside. They are a great way to let your cats enjoy the outdoors, without exposing them

to the potential dangers they would face if allowed to roam freely.

Most cats get used to outdoor enclosures within a week of first being introduced. You can build your own or buy commercially made outdoor enclosures in many different sizes and shapes.

Outdoor enclosures are directly against a window allowing cats to have access from inside.

A freestanding outdoor enclosure

cannot be accessed from the porch:

a cat must be transported from the house

on a leash or in a carrier.
